PERIOSCOPY
Alternative
to Periodontal Surgery
PREVENTION
OF SERIOUS HEALTH RISKS WITH PAINLESS AND ALMOST BLOODLESS NEW
STATE OF THE ART EXCEPTIONAL TRAUMALESS PROCEDURE. Alternative
to surgery! Available to demonstrate this procedure with
my patients or yours on TV live or taped!
Did you
know that millions of Americans are at risk of heart attacks
(the number 1 cause of death in the U.S.), strokes, and systemic
diseases due to periodontal disease, according to the Periodontal
Journal? Diabetes, respiratory disease, and pre-term low birth
weight babies have been linked to infections in the mouth (periodontal
disease).
Make
sure this doesn't happen to you!
Infections
in the mouth can play havoc elsewhere in the body. This confirms
what scientists have suspected for years: that oral infections
such as periodontal disease adversely affect conditions outside
the mouth.
As
a bonus, Dr. Weil gives patients "MASSAGE IN A BOTTLE"
stress reliever before the procedure. Patients go home relaxed! It's even better
than headphones or a DVD.
FINALLY
YOU WILL NOT DREAD GOING TO A PERIODONTIST!
I have a very exciting new technology in my office that is
not only painless but without the usual blood loss!
It is not an invasive procedure.
Yet,
amazingly, the pockets close up, which will help
set up healthy support for other dental work. [The deeper the
pocket, the better the result.]
This
endoscope [a small fiberoptic camera with 48x magnification]
allows me to see underneath the gums.
In
many cases, this treatment may be a viable alternative to periodontal
surgery! This is excellent for patients where cosmetics are a
concern; or for those whose medical problems contraindicate surgery,
phobic patients, or those who refuse surgery!
PERIOSCOPY
The good news is that people
with periodontal disease now have a new minimally-invasive treatment
option that may keep them from resorting to surgery. Perioscopy
also offers an option to patients with special conditions who
cannot tolerate surgery, as well as patients on standard periodontal
maintenance plans.
We are
one of the few offices in the area offering this new technology.
Perioscopy
is a new procedure using a miniature dental endoscope with advanced
video, lighting and magnification technology which enable us
to diagnose and treat areas below the gumline NON-SURGICALLY.
The Benefits of Perioscopy
- Provides
a comfortable, non-surgical treatment option.
- Pinpoints
unseen deposits that cause bleeding and inflammation
- Enables
detection of periodontal conditions and other dental problems
in earlier, more manageable stages.
- Enhances
effectiveness of regular periodontal maintenance programs
- Raises
the standard of oral health care by using a new level of visualization
to help fight periodontal disease and associated tooth loss.
Perioscopy
allows your clinician to see, accurately diagnose and effectively
treat periodontal and other dental conditions which might otherwise
go undetected and ultimately undermine your oral health and perhaps
even affect your overall well-being. Perioscopy is a great new
tool in the preservation of natural teeth and the fight against
periodontal disease. It offers another option which can be used
to treat you comfortably and effectively without the apprehensiveness
and discomfort of surgery.
Here is what some patients have
to say about perioscopy:
Laura, Perioscopy Patient
"It's
amazing technology. Perioscopy has helped me keep my natural
teeth. Everybody wants to avoid surgery and this is so easy!
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a problem with
their gums."
Mikhail, Perioscopy Patient
"My
dentist told me that it would be impossible to save my tooth
without surgery... I found a dentist who offered Perioscopy.
My pocket was much smaller. I went back to show my dentist and
he was very surprised by the results."
Margaret, Perioscopy
Patient
"I
can't tell you how relieved I was to find a way to keep my teeth
without having gum surgery."
PERIOSCOPY RESULTS
I have enclosed a graph which demonstrates that the treated area
gets dramatically [averages 4.6mm] healthier, healing
over a period of months using this new instrument,
the perioscope-unlike traditional scaling and root planning alone
[averages 1-2mm], which is finished healing in 4-6 weeks.
As you
can see from the graph, the deeper the pockets, the more dramatic
changes occur over time!
There
is a dramatic change from 8 mm to 3mm and from 4.5mm to 3mm in
9 months!

avaiable in our office.
